Cudahy Varsity Pom Pons has grown in leaps and bounds over the past 12 years. The program’s primary goal is to provide an opportunity for girls in grades 9-12 to improve their technique and build confidence in poms and dance through performances, clinics and competitions. Team unity and attitude is a vital component of the program. Performing to the best of our ability is not our only goal, nor is it the measure of a successful program. Win or lose, building character in each of our athletes is the ultimate goal of our program because character extends into everyday life. The Varsity Pom Pon Team’s season runs from May through February. The season includes a 4-day competitive and instructional camp, the Midwest Invitational in IL, performances at Varsity football and basketball games, a winter competition schedule, elementary school clinics during the summer and winter, and community service projects. The team practices everyday during the summer and 2-3 days a week during the school year. Tryouts are held in early spring each year.
